About her
I work for a Bank in Learning & Development financial operations. No two days are the same which makes it challenging, but fun. I have a team in Glasgow and in New York.
When I'm not at work I love to travel - whether it's jumping in the car and taking off at the weekend, or hiring a car and driving around the USA or Canada. Some of us girls are great map-readers! That's not to say I don't enjoy my home - nothing nicer than curling up with a good film or book.
And there's music of course - I go to lots of concerts and love virtually any sort of music. Concerts can be classical or a bit adventurous and I'm happy to listen to anything new. In the last month, I've been to see a North African group, a mixed classical concert, an evening of authentic tango music and the fabulous Ukelele Orchestra of Great Britain.
My friends would describe me as generous, loyal and a good listener. They'd also say I'd be the first person they'd go to in a crisis and I'm good at making people laugh. I'm also an incurable romantic - except I don't like chocolate!
I'd say I'm attractive and get told I don't look or act my age - I'm one of these "you only live once" types, but I do believe in that. Never waste a minute - life really is too short.

The most important factors for me are : intelligence, a good sense of humour, honesty. I like physical attractiveness - not necessarily just in looks, but in dress and general bearing.
Ideally, you should also have a "you only live once" outlook on life - someone who will try new things, likes a bit of adventure, enjoys travelling, acts on impulse and treats his companion like a lady. A good conversationalist who is at home in any situation and doesn't take himself too seriously.
I'd like to meet a professional man, retired or otherwise, who understands someone who works hard and sometimes overdoes it!
He should enjoy all types of music - if your favourite pieces are by Led Zeppelin, Gotan Project, Katchachurian, Chet Baker or John Barry that would be a great start!
My perfect date would be tapas, a good red wine (and I know my wine!) or fish and chips on a beach, but most importantly good conversation and with someone who can make me laugh.
My aim is to find someone I want to be with on a long-term basis but for now I'd love to have a companion to enjoy activities with and we can see what happens.
