About her
I have almost everything; great friends, lovely Georgian A listed flat in the city centre surrounded by galleries, museums, gardens, restaurants, the best job in the world (there's more to life than money! ). I just want someone to share it with me! Someone to enthuse with after a great day or give me a hug after a rough one (even perfect jobs have bad days), share silly observations and private jokes.
For fun:
I love driving in the Scottish mountains and abroad and have always loved classic cars (used to have a 1969 #3 Spitfire); Photography & painting (I'm not very good though); I have also written some children's stories but haven't quite had the courage to send them to publishers yet.
My job:
I'm a classical musician but do quite enjoy a bit of sax playing My day to day work is as a woodwind instructor in schools.
My education: I have an honours degree in music and and a post graduate qualification in musicology and am slowly working through a masters degree too as and when time and money allow. I am also, hopefully, about to embark on a PhD later this year.
Favourite hot spots:
The Masai Mara and Zanzibar. Oh, and tracking colobus monkeys in the Nyungwe Forest in Rwanda - you're never quite sure who's watching who. Magical!
Favourite things:
My old car, my new flat and my gigantic dog and naturally my musical instruments.
Love the films 'Amelie', 'Breakfast at Tiffany's', 'The Green Mile', 'Like Water for Chocolate' & 'Chocolat'. CHOCOLATE! CHOCOLATE! CHOCOLATE!
