About her
I am physically fit, enjoy the outdoors and get pleasure from watching wildlife, being near and in the sea.
I care about the environment. I also enjoy my feminine side and happy to don a dress and heels! I have a love and joy of life.

To encapsulate, here are the things I would have in my 'Desert Island treasure trove'. Good novels, table at a good restaurant, quality bottle of wine, theatre ticket, walking boots, binoculars, wildlife around me, beach and sea, maybe a sail boat or kayak, an adventure, but most of all a caring and loving partner who enjoys intelligent conversation.
I have travelled reasonably widely, & would love to do more with someone special by my side.
I was a complementary health practitioner, and have recently retired. I am healthy and take no medication.
My 3 adult children are really important and close to me, though distant physically. I have 3 lovely, lively grandchildren and I like to see them when I can, every few months or so.
Friends consider me to be a kind, happy, sincere and lively person, who has a good sense of humour, is empathetic and a good cook!
Other things I love are - walking early morning when the world is fresh and peaceful, spotting glimpses of wildlife & birds, being in the sea, reading a good book and then discussing it. Walking hand in hand with a partner in a beautiful place/by the sea - could you be that person? (in the moonlight?)
About her ideal match
I am looking for that special man who shares my outlook on life and some of my interests. You will hopefully be a caring, kind, considerate and loving person who is able to laugh with me over life's twists and turns. Someone who can hug and be hugged and hopefully have some romance still and some fun. These are important qualities I would look for in a potential partner.
As I have grandchildren and children, I would hope that a potential partner would understand the love and commitment that I have towards visiting them for weekends sometimes and occasionally longer. I would be more than happy to embrace your family too.
Hopefully you will be someone who wants to see the world and all it has to offer us. I am very open to trying new activities with you, or, you may prefer us to do some activities separately, and that is also good with me.
Being able to converse together I consider is really important, whether it is talking about the news of the day, our innermost thoughts and feelings or just laughing about something that has just happened, or having a good conversation about a book or play over a glass of wine. Times of silence and just 'being' is also important.
