About her
I am well educated, mix easily and listen well.
I am tall slim, fit and leggy, like to wear heels! Also able to do the 'telephone box change' from scruffs to black tie in 15 mins.
My current/previous occupation is my fourth career, although that is normal now as in many things I am ahead of the curve!
Technically retired, I seldom stop - 'free' time is negotiating with planners to develop my new home, out in the garden, cooking for the friends who stop by and occasional granny duties.
I tell it as it is, I don't nag, if I have a problem you will know about it: I don't hold grudges and travel light.
I'm an independent lady, adventurous by nature and well travelled. I'm waiting for a few things to sort out then I plan to take some time away for me.
I should add that while I am waiting I read a great deal and think - a hugely underrated past time and one it seems being educated out of our children. I question everything I read and hear these days! Planning my second book.
Also, that my travelling rather involved living in various places rather than 'package' transit visits : I endeavoured to get to know the locals (rather than live the ex-pat existence) and picked up enough of the language to understand and reply - not enough to add to the shortlist for competency!
I guess on a site like this there are no preconceptions about 'the other' - no gossip, just a clean slate, and perhaps it is easier for a completely new start with the opportunity for self-reinvention? Now isn't that exciting!
