About her
Hi. I've been widowed for some years now and live alone in a beautiful part of the southern Cotswolds. I left a high-powered job a couple of years ago and now run my own consultancy part-time. I have lots of friends, but am sometimes at a loss for someone to go to dinner with on a Saturday, to the theatre or on a holiday. You know the sort of thing! I love travel, especially if there's a beach concerned, whether it's the Gower or Goa. I also like the mountains of southern Spain, especially the Alpujarra area. I enjoy theatre; I particularly like ballet and opera, but I like plays and musicals too. I love walking and would do more if I had company (my dobermanns are good company for walks, but their conversation is limited). I show the dobes too. I enjoy eating out, but I'm a reasonable cook and also enjoy cooking for friends and even throwing the occasional party. It would all be much more fun with some interesting company. Oh, and I'm told I have a wicked sense of humour.

I'm looking for someone who's interesting company who can chat about all sorts of things, whether weighty or inconsequential. A sense of humour is essential - wit would be an added bonus. You'll probably have done some interesting things with your life, but be looking for some time now to enjoy yourself. You'll be happy socialising or spending time a deux. You don't have to love dogs, but if you hate them I can't imagine you being comfortable at my house. You'll probably enjoy walking although that's not essential.
