Walking boots and Rugby... I love a pint, glass of wine, good food and live foot stomping country pub music...
Retiring from playing rugby and saying "My knee hurts!" was a lame excuse not to do any exercise! I'm back in the gym... after dum di dum..years..! And yes... it hurts..!

I've had 40 + years in the music industry and enjoyed a good belly laugh with many friends! I look back and I can't help but smile... Good times! And may them good times roll on having left Producing and Artist Development and thrown my lot into writing and producing my own films from a West Indian ( Vincentian ) - Anglo Perspective... It's been a very steep learning curve..!
Instead of jumping on the train to the East Coast for a pint and banter... I'll be moving back to Suffolk (Beccles - Southwold) and breathe some country/sea air..!

I'm not a guilt-trip, manipulative, point scoring kind of guy, nor am I wanting to be with someone who feels the need to indulge!
I hope you won't mind my spending time in libraries and researching in old book shops. There's something about hands on reading scrolls and books that a download from the internet cannot muster.
Hopefully you're an art galleries/museums, markets, food, craft, books, car boot, and antique fair kind of person; and won't mind taking our time just browsing.. a cup of tea, a bite to eat.. then flash the cash and fill up the boot.
If you're a person who likes to get her glad rags on, some lippy and heels to die for.. ready for a night of Theatre/Opera or a trip to the Pictures, followed by some Jazz.. live music.. dancing.. drinking.. eating and laughter... (Behaving Badly Well!) visit or have family and friends over for a bite to eat and catch up... I'm up for that!
Equally, if you want to just shut the door for the weekend... some back ground Chamber or Jazz and a bottle or two of something invigorating.. read the papers/ book.. paint.. snuggle up and watch a film... Count me in!
You don't have to want or own a pair of walking boots... And Rugby.. well that's my thing... You might like to play your trumpet or harp... skiing... mountain climbing or fresh water swimming.. that'll be your thing... I'll gladly wait with flask of hot cocoa and towel... we'll share your exploits over a glass or two!
I really want to meet someone who won't mind if I stay in the bar whilst they're on the piste! Likes the sun... stomping divots... indulges in a bit of cross country and dressage!
Appreciate that some of us prefer Thick Cut Marmalade!
And not push the Marmite Bottle to the back of the cupboard!
