About her
It is always so hard to write about yourself but there we are. I am interested in so many things and think I can hold my own in most conversations! I love to walk and to be outside in fresh air and we have many lovely places to walk where I live. I love the theatre, whether for music or drama, and strive to go when ever I am able. I adore music across the spectrum and love to be introduced to new pieces or genres whatever they are. I also like to dance whether ballroom, latin,tango or salsa, great fun. I am very interested in the history of art and love to visit art galleries or lectures. I like to cook and to try different themes, gives me a chance to be creative. I finally left my all absorbing work as education adviser in March 2012, which then led me to retirement and I am relishing the chance to do those things I enjoy during the daytime rather than try to fit them in in the evening. I am rebuilding my Bridge skills amongst other things. I lived abroad some years ago in parts of the Middle East and this part of the world still holds some especial interest for me - I visited Jordan for the third time last October. I have a Norwegian background and like to visit Norway whenever I can, but in any case I love to travel and have many plans to fulfill.

I would like to meet someone who will share my interests in walking, travel, music and theatre. A sense of humour would be good and also the desire to live life to the full and enjoy all opportunities as they appear. Very often simple pleasures are the best, and sometimes that can just be being in each other's company. I think that a long term relationship would be something I would like to aim for and perhaps my match would see the same goal.
