About her
I enjoy talking with people and learning about their interests, but maintain a few close friendships. I studied art, music, and literature, at university, but have a terrible memory for names and titles, so like visiting galleries, or hearing concerts, seeing live theatre for the pleasure of it. Living near London means I can enjoy the restaurants and cultural life of the city, but still prefer the relaxed environment of the smaller towns. I have a good sense of humour, but am a lousy joke teller, as I muddle up punch lines. I probably choose a comedy story over a drama, most times when viewing t.v.
Food, family, and friends are all important to me. I appreciate having friends of different ages and interests to my own. Raised in Chicago, I love being by water and bright sunshine. I have divided loyalties when it comes to sports, and seemed to be shouting for everyone during the Olympics. I enjoy watching sports both on t.v. and at live events. I'm not the greatest at sport myself, but am good at cheering others on. I like to travel, but travel less for work now and more for holidays. I've had family holidays in the National Parks of the U.S., but I'm not an extreme sports enthusiast, probably more of a hike to the HIlton kind of girl.
Although not as good as Mary B., my family and friends do like my baking, particularly cakes and cookies. I do entertain at home, but probably prefer the buzz of conversation out at a restaurant or pub, where someone else does the washing up.

I would like someone who has the freedom in their job now to enjoy their week-ends. I don't mind if he has family commitments, but I am looking forward to meeting someone who has time to give to an adult relationship as well. I like a man with a good sense of humour, but not one who can't be sensible at other times. I enjoy the company of a man who is out-going and friendly and knows how to put others at ease. I personally like many of the arts, so it would be good to meet someone to enjoy them with. Maybe someone who has a better knowledge of music than me and can help me improve my music appreciation. Although not terribly sporty myself, I do want someone who likes being a spectator or plays a particular sport himself, and doesn't mind me joining in with his interest. I enjoy dressing for the occassion, so hope I can meet someone who is comfortable in casual or smart attire depending on the event. I love animals, and can't afford a horse. I like dogs and perhaps my match would like going for walks with a dog too. As I'm not English by birth, it needs to be someone who is flexible enough to cope with a potential relationship with someone from another culture. I like to travel and my holiday preference is sun and sea.
