About her
This is the hard part as it's all been said before but here goes anyway. I'm in my sixth decade but there's a twenty - something year old trying to get out. I have many interests and pursuits. I sing in a choir, take part in local amateur dramatic productions and love ballroom & latin american dancing. However, I am also equally happy walking in the quiet of the countryside or by a windswept sea.
I enjoy travelling both in this country and abroad but am equally contented just staying at home reading a good book, cooking or gardening.
But at the end of the day what is missing from my life is that special person with whom I can share it all. Be it cosy evenings by the fireside just listening to music, reading or discussing articles in the newspaper or maybe a visit to the cinema (although lots of boxes of tissues are a "must" as I cry unashamedly over sad films!), they are all better when shared with someone special.
Friends describe me as being loyal, honest & cheerful, with a ready smile to share a joke with them or lend a shoulder if they need one to cry on. I can't bear dishonesty and do not suffer fools gladly.
