Have played solo for too long! Would love a companion to share my tastes in musical theatre, opera & ballet. Love gardens, NT properties. Avid family historian. Now retired after a varied and interesting career in teaching starting out as a musician but with recent focus on pupils with communication difficulties/IT access. Keen on travel but have not ventured far on my own......apart from a winter in Australia, an expedition to Japan. Tend to get absorbed by ITV3 & Yesterday channels since I can follow the series I kept missing whilst engaging ias accompanist and MD in amateur musical theatricals. Also interested in literature & the visual form..e.g. Jane Austen and the variety of interpretations available of her works.
Love talking to friends about art, particularly impressionists, poetry, architecture. Sounds far too highbrow but ready for anything......nights at the dogs and days at the races have not been unknown!

My best match would be someone who could share a love of all the arts, particularly a passion for music, & had an interest in all things historical (including me!). Would also enjoy eating out sampling all kinds of menus, travel of all kinds starting from locations in the UK & stretching to the far east.
