About her
Happy, carefree and quite serious lady, who loves life by the sea. I've decided to take a chance and see if there might be someone a bit special to share that with me...
I'm happy in my own skin, and appreciate a lot about being single if I'm honest. I (still) enjoy my work which is local but takes me to far off places sometimes and I love travelling. I have good friends and dance partners which makes life fun, and I love to learn new stuff, I'm almost always open to new experiences.
I am fairly outgoing, spontaneous, and also quite reserved. I like socialising with friends and am often the ideas person for interesting nights out, but also appreciate being quiet one on one.
I'm educated and intelligent, and I used to read a lot, now more likely to watch films to relax quietly, or just listen to music. Sometimes I paint - pictures that is (but walls too when the decoration is due).
I'm loyal, tactile and affectionate, and looking for something real, but believe life should be fun, and a good relationship should enhance both lives.
I love being romanced, wined and dined, but I'm just as happy out on a long cycle ride, or walking across the downs with a sandwich in a backpack.
I'm a good listener, and a loyal friend, which I believe is the only basis for a lasting relationship.
I have two grown up sons, who are a joy in my life and I am very proud of them.
Did I mention I like dancing.. Latin, Ballroom, Angolan or just good old handbag dancing. And the music that inspires me to want to dance. It doesn't matter to me that I'm not brilliant at it. - it's about getting moving and learning how to get better. Metaphor for life probably!
About her ideal match
This feels like a shopping list which is not at all right! In the end, it's when you meet the person you feel right or not (don't you agree?) but then I do need to give some clues I guess....so
Aspects I find attractive in a person are a sense of humour (dry is good), and enjoyment of food, wine, walking, dancing (that would be nice), being active, cycling, talking, being quiet, cats, the sea (I'm a hopeless sea sailor but maybe could learn), art, theatre, music... did I miss anything? That's my shopping list part :-)
You would be passionate and caring, kind and honest. A listener as well as a talker, interested in life and people and places. You would know who you are and happy with who you are. You will be upbeat and take a positive view on life. Someone who smiles for no reason: I don't do grumpy!
I don't mind if you have different interests to me if we can share our passions and learn from each other. There is such a lot that we have not tried - we might like it?
