I am a qualified professional who also lectures. I would describe myself as socially conscious and value this quality. I have been on my own for several years now- the time seems to have flown by! I have been quite career driven- maybe a distraction technique. I am a firm believer in the work ethic and in an "honest day's work for an honest day's pay." I enjoy work but I know there is more to life. I have a good sense of humour, enjoy reading and current affairs. I'm happy, considerate and reflective. I am bubbly, elegant, trustworthy, always helping others. I always see the bright side of things... My ambition, as always, is to have a happy home. I am a great believer in harmony. I believe in the high ideals of truth, justice and harmony and that life is something to be won through strength and conviction.

I believe there is good in everyone. I am the eternal optimist, for me the glass is always half-full. I have a zest for life and find it difficult to occupy my time with ill feelings. Most of my working life has been spent with older people and those in palliative care. This has shaped my outlook on life- quite profoundly. If I were to only leave readers with one impression of me then it would be that I am easy going. I am a romantic which I believe is visible in the little things in life. For my part I will endeavour to keep you smiling, care and love you for always.

Someone I can adore and admire....I would like what we all want- a companion, someone to spend the rest of my life with and feel safe in the knowledge we will each respect the other with humility. To be honest - just someone that can make me smile.
Naturally I would like to meet someone who is mature, loving and caring. Someone- ideally compassionate. I admire anyone who is well spoken and non-judgemental. I also find humour an extremely attractive quality. I am looking for an educated individual who I can share a stimulating and intellectual conversation with. I am looking for someone who makes at least a bit of an effort to look good, but at the same time isn't vain. Money is relatively insignificant to me.
