About her
well, I'm passionate, enthusiastic, ambitious, cheerful, friendly, kind, and overall a realist.... I have an affinity for the classics, whether they be film, styles, music, art, literature, decor or architecture. However, regarding my personality I'm not quite sure how to portray myself... I have been told I resemble 'Bridget Jones'... sadly, mainly for my waddle like run, the clumsiness and my body. But no, they may have a point, I am "a clarinet playing musical version of Bridget Jones minus the smoking and the wonderful accent" :)
All my main hobbies, interests and 'likes' are linked around my main passion, which is music. I have been immersed in the world of music really since the beginning of a levels and this love has stayed with me through my university education, my travelling and my job. I play many instruments and have toured alongside many bands, orchestras and theater companies, I feel incredibly privileged to be doing what I have always wanted to do.
Music:
my musical tastes span from the romantic classical music of Chopin and Tchaikovsky to the rough jazzy voice of Tom Waits. I just tend to like moving melodies/meaningful lyrics...a few of my favorite artists include: Rufus/Louden Wainwright, Otis Redding, Sarah Vaughn, Etta James, Buena Vista Social Club, Toots and the Maytals, Dusty Springfield, Anthony and the Johnsons, Stone Roses, Blur, Neil Young, Suede, Leonard Bernstein, jazz classics by Gershwin and Bob Florence
Humor:
I feel my sense of humor is a key aspect of my personality, I like pretty dry British comedy, which often people seem to find a little odd sometimes. My favorite sit coms include Alan Partridge, The Office/Ricky Gervais, Peep Show. I occasionally attempt this witty form of humor myself, but often with little success.
Literature:
Oscar Wilde has always been a favorite and recently I surprisingly enjoyed Lolita by Vladmire Nabokov... however, please do not let this alter your perception of me, haha....

My ideal match... well, ideally I just want another human being on the same wave length, who can engage in interesting and imaginative conversation and can make me happy/laugh However, the word 'ideal' suggests something beyond this, something even more perfect, such as someone who shares my English dry humor , my varied taste in music, and the other arts... I mean of course, these things would be a bonus, but... then again why does everyone try and search for someone exactly the same as themselves?
So overall, in answer to this question- just someone that makes me feel happy and content in life.
