About her
I like to be out of doors with my dog or in the garden, although I can't walk more than an hour or so with my old Labrador as she is 14. I do pilates so I am reasonably fit and I used to swim regularly. I am now considering open air swimming in the North Sea - maybe this summer! I play in local orchestras but took up a string instrument and play it like a woodwind player so I need to practice.
I am interested in classical and folk music, films, science fiction, animals, gardens, history and crafts. I am always keen to know more about anything and my current interests are local history, archaeology and old railway lines (for walking).
As I live close to a beach, which I love, my dream would be to buy a house in woodland with a river running through its garden. Give me woodland walks and loch views any day over heavy duty tourist spots or large city noise, although I am partial to wine bars in France and watching people go by.
I would love to travel to see the ancient temples and archaeological sites of the world but that will have to wait until my Disreputable Dog has passed onto the great woodland tracks of the otherworld.
