About her
I am a peaceful, loving, slightly introverted but live wire who enjoys the more worthwhile and substantial aspects of life. I've traveled, studied, worked on my personal evolution and am still traveling that path...I do wish to light on a branch and build a cozy nest along with someone of like mind and desires. There's much more I could say as to "why people should get to know me", but I will save that for later, if that's alright with you. It involves having fun, enjoying outdoor activities, being able to laugh, both in general and at myself, being convivial company, passionate about music, photography, travel, just for a start. You are so welcome to discover more for yourself! I find it difficult to encapsulate myself in this kind of format. The only thing I can say about myself is that I'm always learning...wanting to learn and experience the various aspects of life that make the journey rich. I love the Scottish Highlands and the vast, luxuriously green English countryside. I will also love to have my own hearth alongside someone of like mind and heart. I'm not a game player, and am seriously interested in having a committed relationship.
I retired from my protracted road trip across the US and up/down the West Coast, a couple of years ago, having traveled a great deal over the last several years, which was a pattern started in the UK several summers ago, and now live on the east coast of Florida. Though I am from the US, I'm happiest in the UK, which has been my second home my entire adult life, so am completely comfortable there, and eminently portable...I visit often. Please don't be put off that I'm across the sea and unavailable for coffee at this moment in time...I'll be back soon enough, as the world health situation permits.

I am attracted to men who are intelligent, compassionate, articulate and direct...who, like me, are young of body as well as spirit. But, having said that, I think it all boils down to chemistry between people...mutual respect, trust, empathy...that is what I'm hoping to find with someone. We don't have to share all the same interests, but a desire to learn and grow together is important. It would be great if you enjoy a bit of travel, perhaps involving road trips or walks in the city or country. I love city culture, and music is essential to my spirit, wherever I am... but it's most enjoyable when sharing it, and country walks are most colorful when seen out of two pairs of eyes.
