About her
I am a naturally happy person, with a thoughtful side. Although confident and independent, I enjoy companionship and am looking for the right person with whom to share life's great adventures!
I like travelling and learning about other cultures but am also a bit of a home bird and like to feel grounded. I have a strong sense of spirituality, and traditional values are important to me.
My friends would describe me as an honest, happy person, who loves to laugh. I'm not afraid to say what I think and sometimes go out on a limb. I try to be a good listener too and open to new ideas.
I love music of all sorts and sing in a local choir. I sing solos in my local church too. I like to bake when I have time and enjoy time outdoors; in the garden or on country walks. I'm a primary school teacher and a couple of years ago finished a university course specialising in teaching English as an Additional Language. I love my job at an independent school where I teach English to children from 6 to 13 years-old. I am so grateful that this employment has continued during the recent pandemic; although I've had to get my head around remote teaching and learning!
I'd like to take time to build-up a solid, respectful relationship. I have so much love and happiness to give to the right person, and need to feel this generosity of spirit back!

Someone who wants to love, laugh and learn! Someone who appreciates spirituality, perhaps through walks in the great outdoors or through a love of music.
My ideal match is respectful of Christian beliefs and holds similar values. He has a sense of adventure, but keeps his feet on the ground! I would like to meet someone who shares my interest in music. Hopefully he would come along to concerts with me, to listen or perform!

Alison has been a good friend to me for over 20 years. She has a lot of love to give. Reading her profile, she has been completely honest which I would totally expect from her. She has a real sense of fun and is good company. She is very conscientious and caring which is shown in her professional role as a teacher as well as in her private life. Alison has been a friend of mine for over ten years and I met her through my choral society. She always looks on the bright side, even when things are not going perfectly, and is full of life and full of fun. She is a good and loyal friend and can be relied upon to be there for people when they are in need of support.
