About her
Friends describe me as a 'can do' sort of person - energetic, creative, easy to get on with, fun and with loads of interests. I love being with people who share my passions, and enjoy good company. I am looking for someone special to be with - maybe going out for walks, dancing, dreaming up grand projects - or just putting the world to rights with a glass of wine in front of the fire.
Being outdoors - whether in the garden , working my bees or walking in mountains, moors or on the coast makes me feel alive. I grow my own veg and strive to keep control of the garden! Whilst I love being in the country, I also like going to the theatre particularly watching contemporary dance. My music tastes are wide and varied - from folk and world music, to blues and classical (Late Junction maybe sums it up). I regularly work at Glastonbury Festival, enjoying the music, sunshine and mud!
What else can I say about me? I live in a peaceful rural spot surrounded by orchards, I'm vegetarian and love to cook and share meals. I worked in the dance world for many years, and dance is still a passion, but I took a totally new direction, retrained and worked in the NHS, which was challenging, fascinating and inspiring.
I love travel and still have a list of places I would like to visit. I enjoy walking, and I would like to do another long distance path - am thinking of the Camino de Santiago next.
