About her
I am fun, intelligent, articulate and attractive. I keep myself in good shape by walking and almost daily work outs.
I have one adult child living with me, my youngest lives a few minutes away, and I see him often. I often used to visit my oldest who lived in Paris. which probably says something about my relationship with them and from which you can perhaps surmise a little about me.
I enjoy playing scrabble (the kids usually beat me), and backgammon (I usually beat them). I like to read French poetry (in French) and also French classics. I play bridge and am a good backgammon player.
I often go to Covent Garden and concerts, and also museums and art galleries, in London and Paris.
As to my character, I am confident, can be opinionated, love a good discussion, and can mix in most circles. I am very easy going, patient and tolerant but do not suffer fools gladly!
I dislike bad manners, bad language, people who take themselves too seriously and people who are late. I am always punctual.
I usually see the funny side of most situations, and have been described by colleagues as an incorrigible giggler.
I am equally comfortable in my old jeans as I am in evening dress.
I used to have a small dog who we rescued after losing our beloved german shepherd. I frequently look after a neighbour's dog.
I enjoy good food but do not eat meat. I rarely drink, but have been known to knock back a glass of champagne or 3.
I am very reliable - i serve on a legal committee of which I have been a member for 20 years and have never missed a meeting.

Please note that my preferences are non-negotiable, so if you have facial hair (other than eyebrows), and have not posted a photo, do not waste your time or mine.
First, the superficial - I do not like facial hair, toupees, tattoos or piercings, or dirty shoes (unless we have been walking through the mud on Hampstead Heath).
I value intelligence over looks, but I prefer a partner who is slim, and keeps himself in good shape, physically and intellectually. I like a man who is assertive but not controlling, and who does not feel threatened by an intelligent woman with a mind of her own.
Classical music is a very important part of my life and I am therefore looking for someone who enjoys going to the opera and concerts (nothing modern thanks!) or who will at least tolerate it.
A sense of adventure and spontaneity is important , an interest in travel, but not just lying around on a beach.
I would prefer to meet someone who has his own children and can appreciate that although my kids are adults, they still sometimes need their mother!
