If you are looking for a loyal friend, a warm personality and companionship (as a starting point) together with an enquiring mind, I might just be that person. My interests are so varied that I am never bored; I love being outdoors, in the countryside, and adore music, art, literature, churches, archaeology, architecture, walking, exploring, sailing, gardening, DIY, sewing, cooking, reading - there are never enough hours in the day for me! Whilst I am used to my own company, I enjoy sharing these interests and taking up new ones whenever I can. Still blondish, slimmish, and of presentable height and reasonable health, and retired from my own business. I've lived and worked overseas and traveled extensively, and would like to meet someone who has a similar background but who nowadays keeps his National Trust card in his pocket rather than his passport, and whose wellies are always in the back of the car!

He would be spontaneous, adaptable, funny, clever, practical and slightly zany, musical or artistic perhaps. He would have traveled but would have put his passport away whilst his National Trust card and wellies would always be ready. He would be confident and generous, and unconditionally accepting, ready to trust and to inspire trust in return; he would be a people person. He would find fun in most circumstances, and be comfortable anywhere, willing to try anything at least once. He would enjoy being outdoors, and able to appreciate the joy in every day. Should I continue? Perhaps not - I don't really expect perfection, but contentment would be wonderful!
