About her
I have a friendly, outgoing personality with a caring, considerate nature and I like to dress well . I had a professional career in the NHS before retiring and now I have more time, I love organising fund raising events in my local community and belong to a few local groups.I love cooking and baking and always welcome help to take calorie laden cakes off my hands!
I love all animals and wildlife in general .I own a horse and I also have 2 Burmese cats who are naughty but great company. Music is very important to me and I have quite a wide taste, though I mainly listen to classical music and I go to live concerts when I can.
I love the countryside and walking but sadly no longer have a dog to get me out walking every day. I'm a keen gardener and enjoy my and other people's gardens and visiting National Trust properties and other historic buildings. I like to be out in company but I also enjoy quiet nights in with the right person enjoying a glass of good wine in front of the log fire.
I have travelled quite a lot, both for business and pleasure and still have a wanderlust . Special interests are, as I've said, history, walking and wildlife so I'm more interested in culture than lying on a beach. There are many places I would still like to visit but it would be so much nicer to share these experiences with a kindred spirit.
