Hello, thank you for taking the time to check my profile.
What do I tell you? I am a fairly confident person, but believe that I am a modest person. Yes, I know that opens the door for some to say 'with good cause,' but I hope that you will polite and resist the temptation until you get to know me.
I have a positive attitude; I prefer to tackle issues rather than complain about them. I have a balanced view of life and am respectful of other people's life choices as I hope they will respect mine.
I like being active, physically as well as mentally, but I still make time for music and reading. I like going to concerts and the theatre and having cosy chats or discussions.The sporting activities of earlier years have been replaced with walking and dancing, both of which I love.
I had the opportunity a while ago to go back to post-graduate studying, which has now finsihed, but there will be other interests, either to rediscover or new ones to take their place. It would be great if it was something you could join me in. I am also very supportive of friends and those who are close to me, in their own interests.
I am animal lover and the daily walks, or occasional longer ones, are much to the delight of the dog. It is a great opportunity to find that bit of space that we all need occasionally.
My humour is light-hearted but tends to the absurdities of life and is sometimes a little self-deprecating
With regard to relationships I believe that I am considerate and caring; that I am conscious of the other person's needs. I believe I am someone that you can rely upon and when I make a commitment it is not lightly set aside.
