About her
I'm basically a feeling person with quite a lot of intuition, and worked in the caring professions before retiring. I love reading, classical and other music, art, literature and belong to some groups to share these interests with others. Alhough very friendly, I do need to withdraw sometimes to recoup, but this only means I can be a loyal friend as my resources are then recharged. I love peaceful places, the coast and countryside, animals of all kinds, my pet cat, shortish walks, but also a day in London to visit Galleries or go to a concert. I take a while to get to know people, but when I find someone with kindred values and appreciations, am a loyal and loving friend. To relax, I potter in the garden doing the pleasant jobs, or meditate. I have quite oldfashioned values, but love having fun socially with friends and going out for meals. My spiritual life is important to me, but I do not press this on others and am openminded about others beliefs. I am a kind person, and believe this is one of the most important values in a human being. I can be passionate about injustice and cruelty to the vulnerable. I like learning new things in U3A or WEA groups; sharing ideas and experiences with others is stimulating to me.
What do I dislike? Cruelty, meanness, disrespect, bullying, and manipulation in relationships; too much noise, continued disharmony, being too long in a busy urban space. Although I really enjoy being with a group of friends, I find that a one to one friendship is often more rewarding, and would like to find a manfriend to add to my many women friends, and also some romance - I do love romance! My outlook on life is seeing the goodness in the world, even though there seems to be a great deal of suffering, and hopefully being the best person I can be when my family or friends need me, and also to never give up learning new things and having fun.

Important qualities I would look for in my ideal match would be respect and a liking for women, kindness, a sense of humour, ease of being, openminded, To make a relationship work, I would need you to not be offended by my need to separate and recoup. Also I would want fidelity and loyalty and honesty, and give these in return. I would like my match to enjoy the arts if possible, to forgive me for not being sporty(!), to be able to be quiet with each other, and love nature and animals. I would love to go out for a meal and just talk and share about our lives. If my match would do the cooking occasionally I would be very happy, as its not my favourite thing. It would be lovely to go on holiday together to places we are both interested in, to explore and relax and enjoy sunshine and warmth, and hopefully swimming in the sea.
