I've had a fascinating international career and now work part time in Devon and London. I'm pretty independent but as the children have left home, I'd like to have a like minded male companion to do things with. My interests are international affairs, sport, bridge, cinema, theatre, opera, keeping fit, travel, good food and wine. I have loads of energy and like to be active, but I'm also good at curling up on the sofa. I take on work when it interests me - paid and voluntary - and plan to continue doing this for the next few years. Family is very important to me. Sharing time with a like minded person would be the icing on the cake.

My ideal match would be out going, confident and actively involved in a wide variety of things. I think this is essential to have balance in the relationship.
