I am a warn and caring person, who enjoys the outdoors, being by the sea or in the mountains. Slightly sporty ( hillwalking, swimming, badminton, dancing), but also enjoy a film, a good read, or music, curled up by the fire. I practise yoga, play badminton and spend some spare time gardening, both for pleasure and food. I love animals and have a large blond labrador. Quite sociable and optimistic most of the time.

Someone who cares enough to listen and help, who will not be afraid to tell me gently when I am wrong, who will walk and dance with me but not crowd me. Someone who prefers a walk with the dog (and me of course) or a philosophical discussion to clubbing. Smoking, excessive drinking or dogmatic religious or political beliefs would be a deal breaker.
