About her
We won't be able to meet for a while, and no-one knows how long that might be, but we can start the ball rolling and get to know each other by email, telephone ... so let's get started on making our lives post-Covid19 a more interesting place!
For me, honesty in communication is the foundation on which respect and trust are built, and from that a deep and enduring love can develop.
I'm a keen amateur photographer and belong to a club which used to meet three times a month (now 2-3 times on Zoom), and I'm developing a substantial vegetable garden in my semi-rural home in west Suffolk. I belong to a local choral society; our last major concerts were Bach's Mass in B minor and Handel's Messiah in Swaffham, which were absolutely magical and I'm really missing our weekly rehearsals.
I enjoy all the usual social & home pastimes & pursuits: cinema, theatre, eating out, entertaining at home, reading books, gardening, DIY, watching TV, travel & holidays (I'd love to have someone to travel with!), exploring new places (my plans to explore New Zealand this year have been put on hold due to Covid19), walking/hiking (Yorkshire & the High Peaks are lovely), photography.
When asked, I would say that I'm neither optimist nor pessimist, but think of myself as a realist with a strong dose of pragmatism. In many respects that makes me a typical Libran, generally well-balanced and able to see both sides of an argument, but that can mean that I sometimes come across as being indecisive.
I currently work part-time and the silver lining to Covid19 is that I've given up commuting to my small interior office in Cambridge (no windows) and negotiated a permanent contract change so I'm now home based, enjoying the fact that I now have a window which I can open for fresh air and from which I can watch the local wildlife - a muntjac wandered past as I was typing this!

I would like to meet someone who shares some of my interests so we can share them together, but who is also happy for us to explore interests independently. It would be ideal if you only work part-time, or have already retired from full-time work, or want to do that soon, so we can share the best days of our lives and begin creating our own joint bucket list of places to visit, sights to see and things to discover, together.
