About her
I'm 59 years old, single and looking for someone with similar interests to me. I have a dry sense of humour and love to laugh. Classical music is an important part of my life, I play violin and enjoy going to and participating in concerts. I also enjoy trips to the theatre to see plays (comedy mainly) but especially musicals; cinema and some classical concerts. I enjoy wandering around National Trust and other such places.
A few years ago I moved to Somerset having spent my whole life in Surrey. I'm loving my new life but someone to share it with would be the icing on the cake. I also love Wales, Scotland, Paris, Italy and to explore new places, both cities and countryside. I've been lucky enough to have several amazing adventures in recent years including a month in New Zealand (somewhere I would very much like to return to), a brief visit to Iceland, walking in Chamonix and a peaceful holiday in Guernsey. More recently I have been to Sorrento, Canada and The Azores. I love cats (not quite a crazy cat lady!) and all animals, photography, cooking especially baking, reading, singing in a couple of choirs, playing the violin in an orchestra and pottering in the garden. I've recently discovered the joys of snorkelling and would love to do more. Evenings at home cuddling up on the sofa with a good DVD and glass of wine are also high on my list of "wants". I keep fit by going to the gym and swimming although exercise is more of a necessity than a pleasure.

I'd love to meet someone who shares the same ideals as me. Similar interests, although not necessarily entirely the same, are important. I'd like to meet someone kind and intelligent and who is romantic. A great sense of humour is a must! Brexiters might not last long...
