About her
I really enjoy meeting up with friends but equally enjoy having me time. I'm fairly outgoing but not scarily so. Gardening gives me a lot of pleasure and having music drifting out while I'm working away is good for my soul. Both my siblings are adventurous yachties and I have been invited to sail on many occasions including crossing the Atlantic which was an awesome experience. As far as sport goes, I'm pretty handy with a shot gun, (clays) and I enjoy a bit of tennis and swimming but I don't enjoy anything like rock climbing or steep hill walks. Who knows, perhaps I could be persuaded.
I'm pretty creative in the kitchen and can usually throw something together that is palatable but I am surrounded by good restaurants so enjoy eating out and being a food reviewer, I'm out alot.
I joined a local choir 3 years ago as a soprano and am loving it. Our last performance was Handles Messiah and it was wonderful. I also performed in a scratch choir at the Royal Albert Hall last year to sing Faures Requiem. That was a dream come true although a couple of my guests probably beg to differ on that as it clashed with the world cup final. Lol.
I have a grown up son, daughter and a 5 year old granddaughter. No I don't sit and knit cardies although I probably would if I knew how, but we do spend a fare amount of time together be it for a few days away , a lunch or just hi & goodbye.

Being a creative artistic sort of person I really enjoy the arts, theatre, movies, some opera, open air summer concerts etc and would love to find someone like minded. I also enjoy travelling and have been to many places across the globe but still have many places to discover so a stay at home type of guy without a sense of adventure isn't really for me. I also enjoy, dare I say it, a bit of posh shopping. I know. Not everyone's cup of tea but just saying.
