About him
Hello
I am a careful and considerate person. I do though tend to enjoy the finer things life has to offer. I do work hard, but also have a hedonistic streak that has to, occasionally, be let out of its cage.
Life for me is a journey that has sprung a few surprises along the way[ However,I am ever the optimist and do get over challenges. I do like positivity and endeavour to always be so. I do put on a happy persona. After all, it is infectious.
I am busy and my mind is always active - I do find it sometimes difficult to switch off. But being in the great outdoors, good company, cooking and dining well are things I really enjoy.
Oh - and you may be able to deduce from my name that I do enjoy dry, white fruity things that stimulate my taste buds. I am also rather partial to the fizzy stuff as well. But this is an experience that really does need to be shared.
Anyway, I have decided to bite the bullet, Carpe the Diem and several other clichés to build my life upon. I would like a journey to, hopefully, discover an enduring (and mutually rewarding) friendship with one single person.
What else can I say? Perhaps that I like TV programmes like Newsnight and University Challenge and never, ever watch soap operas. Radio 4 is my station of choice (oops... I hope that is not a faux pas here) and Radio 1 banned from (or perhaps ignored by) my ears.
Update: Yippee! My divorce is finally completed. Therefore, I am single, living on my own and free to date. Should any ladies like to know more about me then please do get in touch.

Someone who would challenge me yet support me. Above all a friend with whom I can converse easily on an eclectic range of subjects.
I do like clever, articulate successful people. Hopefully you posses a sense of style and that you can distil some of it into me; as an archetypal male I (obviously) have none :-)
Oh and an independent streak in a lady is something I admire. I hope that doesn't sound bad. But having ones own space is, I believe, critical to all of us.
I do like bright, energetic, vivacious people.
On the hate front about the only thing that repulses me is cigarette smoke.
