About her
I own a pretty little town cottage in Stratford upon Avon and I'm affectionate, friendly, cheerful, loyal and romantic. I enjoy travel, the theatre, the cinema, photography, tending my garden (see pictures), dining out/in, music (particularly classical and jazz) and DIY and anything practical.
Having now sold my steel 40ft narrowboat I have bought a slightly smaller (aluminium) boat needing less maintenance (see more pictures!), which I keep on a Club mooring on the Grand Union Canal near Warwick. I am very involved in Club activities, as Editor of our monthly newsletter among other things.
I still run my own small business (very part time these days). I was divorced in 1974 and then sadly lost my next dearly-loved partner (Roger) after 20 happy years together; I would therefore describe myself as 'bereaved'. I drive my own car. Whether you feel like a canal trip on the boat, a meal out somewhere or just meeting up for coffee - why not drop me a line?

I am looking for friendship and mutual respect with a kind, intelligent, courteous gentleman with an interesting personality. Although fairly self-sufficient and content to be on my own some of the time, I do very much miss the company of a close partner and friend to care and share common interests.
