I have been on my own now for over 8 years and think that it is now time to 'join in' again!
I am reasonably bright and love good conversations over long lunches or dinner. I would like to be more adventurous and try new hobbies.
I would like to travel more: I have these strange ideas such as getting onto the European rail system without an itinerary and just enjoy for a few weeks, or go to the dark sky reserve in New Zealand - I know that I can do this on my own and I am not afraid of getting lost! it is just that it is not as much fun without someone to share the experience.
I probably spend too much time reading or studying. I love cooking, but don't do much unless I have family or friends visiting. I am a fairly relaxed person and like to think I see the best in people - perhaps too trusting at times.
Am also new to this way of finding friends, but then you probably realised this reading this profile!
Someone has written to me saying that my smoking is a deal breaker - I gave up 3.5 years ago!
