I love my home, but also enjoy getting away - whether it's somewhere hot and sunny abroad, or a cold deserted coastline (with appropriate clothing!) I am optimistic and appreciate all the free things in life - nature, friends, freedom of speech and freedom to go wherever I choose.
I enjoy music - all types except Jazz.....concerts and festivals are my favourite, but I am very happy with decent live pub music too!
I am not ambitious - I love what I do, what I have, and have no desire to better myself by social climbing - money and status do not impress me. A wicked sense of humour and a pride in your appearance do!!
My proudest achievements are raising my 2 children to excellent adulthood, and gaining a 2:1 honours degree at 45yrs old while working part time and raising said children - well, I needed a certificate and a graduation photograph to prove a level of intelligence to compensate for my lack of common sense!
It would be lovely to meet someone positive and down-to-earth who can hold a good conversation, just to make life even more interesting!! :)
