I have a sense of humour and I do scrub up well when required.

I was born in London but have lived outside London for most of my life. I live in the countryside but enjoy the cosmopolitan-ness of London. I am a "Baby Boomer" by nature. I have an 18 year old son off to read maths next year.
I am an IT contractor by profession and will only retire when I get bored of work; I would like to meet with a musical friend, it would be so nice if you are able to play a musical instrument or put together a great composition of tracks;
I like a wide range of music such as Michael Franks, Prince, Fela, The Bruch Violin Concerto.... Tyrannosaurus rex by marc bolan and such like.
In my youth, I would have loved to have learnt to play the cello.
I would really have loved to have met you maybe in a café, while on a walk, maybe in our local swimming baths, maybe having sat next to you at an opera, maybe across a room at a conference, maybe at a comedy show..... Oh dear! the opportunities have been endless …...

Initially, as with any relationship, I would rather a comfortable, pleasant companion, who of course would appreciate harmonious, thoughtful music, classical, jazz, any genre compiled with talent.
