About her
I'm a lively, loving, educated, homely, tactile, genuine woman with a spring in her step, a breath of fresh air with a positive attitude to life, old-fashioned values, much patience and flexibility and a good sense of mischievous humour. I keep up to date with IT and enjoy using my iPad. Am told I am a good catch and look and behave ten years younger than my age.
NT Member for several years now. There are many hobbies and activities I enjoy doing including dancing and swimming to name two; please ask.
I am a proud grandmother as both my Sons now have baby daughters.
I play piano and principal euphonium in a local brass band.
I was born in Warwickshire then moved to Cornwall aged 7 where I spent 36 years until we needed to move to Swindon in 1998. I enjoyed village life and used to breed and show horses. I have a close long term circle of friends, many of whom I have known for over 40 years.
My three children are adults now and financially independent so I decided to return to live in Cornwall albeit not so far west buying a gorgeous new detached home.
I retired from a long civil service career ending with MoD three years ago and am now semi-retired teaching a little piano from home as i both enjoy it and keeping in touch with people.
I also like to get out and about exploring SE Cornwall and West Devon with my dog.

It would be great to spend my twilight years with a gorgeous guy, friends first and see how things develop. Ultimately I’d like to have a companion for dining out, be in a loving relationship, have occasional weekends away, go on holiday, to concerts, walking on the beaches, shopping, eating in or out and most normal day to day things. If he enjoys classical music or even plays an instrument, great but really not essential. My last horse passed away in 2007 and I haven’t ridden since but would ride again if an opportunity arose. I love the outdoors and country life.
