About her
I spend quite a lot of time in Kent and would love to meet new people and see whether it leads anywhere or nowhere. Either would be good. In fact I live just across the channel, in the countryside outside Boulogne sur Mer but it's only 2 hours away . It would be really great to meet someone to enjoy life with - I love the countryside; country life; the city (sometimes); the sunshine; good food (both cooking it & eating it); good wine; my kids & grand-children; both working hard & doing nothing; laughing & animals. Does any of that appeal to you? Very happy to be dirty in wellies, but I'm told I scrub up well! I'm also told I can be a bit "determined" but that seems to be getting better with the years!. And on the subject of years, people usually guess at about 8 years younger than my passport says, so don't take fright at what it says on the page; still very active & working hard. Perhaps the passport is wrong? Is that possible? What don't I like? Can't generalise, but maybe small-mindedness; bad teeth; boredom; sandals & socks . Oh, and taking it for granted that a pleasant evening over a beer will automatically turn into one of the great love affairs of the century INSTANTLY - I've always found that these things evolve. And the evolving is half the fun. Hope you agree? My photos aren't good enough quality to show on the page (so they tell me) but I can easily let you see them if you ask. And in the mean time am hoping for a better quality photo!

SO difficult to say.....the most important of all is to be able to laugh together, probably at really silly things. Needs to understand my rather dry humour, sometimes misunderstood as sarcasm. Really, it's not! And my ideal match doesn't have any grotty habits. Doesn't need to be "romantic", but definitely not UN-romantic! Oh, and a can-do attitude would be great. Victor Meldrew should not apply!
