About her
Off to start a new life with my dogs (so you'll have to love dogs - big ones.......) and planning to move to Italy long term. I'm funny and kind, generous and loving, adore my children and my animals and now want to take off and do my own thing with an interesting, intellectual, loving and kind companion. Totally sick of the weather, I've decided that as it is as quick (often quicker) to get from the frozen north of the UK to Rome as it it is to get to London, my family and fiends can come and stay with me in hot, sunny Italy, where a swimming pool can actually be used! So why should you get to now me? Well......I'm endlessly curious, read voraciously, love riding, dog walking, living in the country and all things country related but I also adore time spent in the city enjoying the culture (particularly theatre and art galleries) of which we are pretty much starved up in the frozen north! I love discussion but hate argument. I'm articulate, well read, well educated and politically very aware. I speak several languages and intend to learn more. I am fascinated by other cultures...I am half Dutch - my children are truly Heinz 57's! I'm young in outlook and attitude, slim and fit and live a very outdoorsy sort of life. My life has been full and rich with big ups and downs and more than it's fair share of excitement but also loss and sadness. I am an eternal optimist but hate living alone and eating alone - I love 'doing' things with a like-minded person - the theatre, walking, travelling, exploring, art galleries, concerts, opera, eating, dancing - anything really is just so much nicer when it's a shared experience. A pleasure shared is a pleasure doubled. I'm currently in la bella Italia....enjoying exploring with my dogs.
