For the curious amongst you. Since this is Classic FM dating I decided upon a Classical Music based username 'PersonWithLongEars'. The name is a corruption of the title of a piece of music from Camille Saint-Saëns Carnival of the Animals: Personnages à longues oreilles (People with Long Ears)
I have already had a successful career which kept me occupied intellectually and materially for many years but it did not make me happy or content. So having no dependents I decided to leave it behind and follow a different path. I now find myself earning a lot less but a lot happier and I enjoy going to work.
I think my best qualities are that I am naturally altruistic, open minded, genuine, young at heart and open to try new things. I think you'd describe my sense of humour as dry. I have been described by others as very intelligent and a pleasure to talk to. Try me! :)
