I like the term Gentleman and have been described as one quite frequently. I like good manners but love a sense of humour as well; I'm not stuffy or stuck up. I was brought up to be respectful and kind, considerate and understanding. I LOVE the 18th Century, especially the Music (Handel is my GOD!) architecture, (I love Dresden), history, model making reading, current affairs (Brexit???? I was for staying IN!), travel, cooking, food and wine. I am an orphaned only child and I worked in local government for 32 years. I was also in a civil partnership but my partner passed away suddenly in 2013. (we had been together 28 years) I am an arthritis sufferer and need a stick to assist with walking any distances but otherwise healthy. I live on my occupational pension.
