I am a warm, sociable person and don't like being on my own since my husband died. Recently, I spent 9 years living in Dubai and since moving back to the U.K. a year ago, I have slowly managed to create a valued network of friends but am always open to meeting new people for fun, laughter and company, and also to meeting that 'special someone'. I have a spontaneous and open outlook on life,
I enjoy sports (running, golf, sailing) and adventure especially in the watery and mountainous wildernesses of the world.
As well as enjoying the active side of life I am equally happy curling up on the sofa with a good book or (even better) a good person! I am tolerant of most people and views on life but smoking, closed minds, arrogance and pretence are turn offs for me. I love eating out and would like to share lovely dinners/drinks with someone on a friendly or romantic basis. I read, listen to music and like travelling, sometimes I paint in watercolours too.
