About her
I am a fiercely loyal person who loves spending time with close friends and family. I am also honest, thoughtful and kind.
In addition to that I'm an intelligent and educated woman who is passionate about teaching English as a profession. My job is seasonal. The winter tends to be rather full on whereas the summer is less so for obvious reasons. Therefore, I strive towards a life balance to escape the stringent routines of school life, whether that lends itself to exploring boundless pastures (metaphorical or literal); to drinking wine whilst huddling up to a roaring chiminea till shamefully late because the anecdotal giggles have stolen the time or dancing until late because I've momentarily recaptured my youth despite being unable to name the producer of the song!
With my newly acquired freedom, I've started exploring the hot spots of the UK and Europe. I'm very keen to continue to do so. Driving up to Edinburgh, with stops on the way and back, is on my list! I'm a strong advocate of the 'growth mind-set' which is an attitude actively taught and adhered to within most educational environments now. I am enjoying challenging and experimenting with it myself. Within the last couple of years, I have tried: kayaking (didn't fall in!); GoApe (yes I screamed on the zip wire but loved it) and painting landscapes with oil (displayed with unexpected pride). Horse riding is next!
In my spare time I visit galleries, the cinema, the theatre and I am a member of the National Trust. I enjoy a variety of the arts. I love socialising to include trying new foods and drink. I tend to listen to radio 4 rather than watch television: Although, I am rather partial to who-dunnits! I am an avid Archer's listener. I've recently discovered the pleasure of listening to audio books - detective genre - on long journeys. I like Netflix and my current favourite show is Suits. My outlook is inspiring company, stimulating conversation and scrumptious food.
