About her
Open water swimming, running and walking in the country are what make me happy.
I love the countryside and am especially happy when watching the sun set from a high vantage point on the hills and having time to take in the beauty of nature.
I'm keen to try new challenges and enjoy activities such as cycling, kayaking and SUPing (beginner) and have recently completed a Learn to Row course, I'm loving the challenge of rowing.
I'm equally happy with city life for short bursts (having lived in London and Bristol in my student days) and I enjoy traveling into London to visit exhibitions/museums/art galleries/attend concerts/go to the theatre - to be inspired and enthused, though now just a distant memory, hoping to be re-ignited in the not too distant future.
My 3 children are now at university and as I work part-time/undertake voluntary work I am able to enjoy a good work/life balance and have more freedom to explore new places, experience new cultures and take on new adventures.
Having been divorced for a few years I feel that now is the right time to venture out and pursue other interests which I'd like to share with a friend/partner.
