Hello! Cheers for looking at my profile. I'd put an emoji, but it might look like I'm trying to appear younger 😀....nuts....
I live in a smallish village in South Wiltshire (disappointingly I don't have much of an accent, but I'm working on it), with my stepson and our dog. Life tends to be as relaxed as I can make it, while making time for responsibilities and having as much fun as possible.
Now that life's become a bit more stable I'm trying to come out of my shell more, the last few years have been spent in mourning and introspection, it's time to start looking at the rest of the world a bit!
I'd like to spend my free time mucking about with my dog/boy, but as he's 18 soon this is turning into more of a taxi service! It's been nice to have more free time tho' so have started diving and would like experience more abroad. Most of my hobbies involve nerdy things, (apparently that's cool now, could have happened 20 years ago!!) and building stuff, from Steampunk gadgetry to timber works tops. But I also like to get my boots muddy and spend time with friends.
To briefly summarise....family, friends, open fires, festivals, pubs, board games, diving, Star Wars, building stuff, be kind, be brave, be happy.

Honestly, I'm not really sure yet, listing attributes seems vulger somehow. So just a bit.
Honesty is important to me, and plain speaking. In general and particularly here. I prefer people who are happy in their skin, and dress/act how comes naturally to them, rather than trying to look like everyone else.
It would be nice to share some intrests, so as-above really.... family, friends, open fires, festivals, pubs, board games, diving, Star Wars, building stuff, be kind, be brave, be happy.
