About him
I am an honest, hardworking, and romantic explorer of the world around me. I'm looking for someone that is interested in spending time exploring what London, and the rest of the world, has to offer.
I have, in my time, been an actor, a writer, and a director, along with a selection of unusual and bizarre day jobs - knocking down brick chimnies and selling chocolates, to name but two. At the moment I am seeking my next line of creative exploration. Full-time teaching seems to be beckoning, and I am happy with that.
I have for the last few years been working on my health - at my age, I have too - and am heavily into the gym and running. Eating healthily is next on the list. I am also preparing for my first marathon in Berlin in October. I am a little nervous about that.
Hobbies remain reading, films (I'm something of an obsessive with those), and the occasional little bit of acting.

I'm pretty easy going about my partner's interests and careers. As you will see from my profile, I am an atheist, so if you are devoutly religious, or a satanist, we might not be a perfect match (actually, the satanist thing might work, and I'm open to being convinced :D)
Something perhaps a little unusual about my past is I lived in the USA for 13 years. I traveled right across the country during my time there, so it would probably be helpful if your tolerance level for listening to stories from the former colonies was relatively high. It would also be night if my future mate wouldn't mind the occasional trip over the water to visit there.
I'm more interested in the unusual than the grand, and care little for money and materialism - although it's always nice to pay the rent. It would nice if you felt the same.
I hope you are someone that likes to be told they are loved, and, in time, can find it in themselves to express the same. Always presuming you do, of course :) I also am all for independence and self-reliance, but it is occasionally nice to be asked to do the washing up - if you understand that, get in touch :)
