About her
I am an outgoing, glass half full person. Having been hors de combat for a while, first with arthritis and then with bilateral hip replacements, I am now back in the running (literally and figuratively) and raring to go. I love being active, mountains, afternoon tea (with LOTS of clotted cream), travelling to interesting countries, meeting new people, experiencing new cultures, reading, writing (with a fountain pen. On paper), good wine, better gin, cooking and/or eating food, art, museums, red tulips and my three (allegedly) grown up children. Not necessarily in that order. Now that we are out of the bunker and back to normal and I am back on my feet I am looking forward to getting back to all my activities, but it’s more fun with two.

I would love to share some or all of the above (and maybe some new things) with an easygoing man with a positive outlook on life. No point in being too prescriptive, if we click we'll know it, but pessimists and grumpy old men need not apply!

Why should you get to know her? Any outing is more fun with her on board and no challenge is too mad for her to consider it. What's so special? She has helped me enjoy recent birthdays by dressing up and holding a ridiculous number of balloons; swimming in rock pools in Devon and lying in the Hive at Kew, but our friendship is based on the fact that she offered kindness and companionship at a time when I needed it. Funny moments? Just spend time with her and one will soon occur. Just watch for the cheeky grin.
