About her
Hi, I am a bright, intelligent, attractive and interesting 41 year old with a zest for life and I love meeting new people. I'm Yorkshire born and bred and after enjoying city life in London, I've returned to my roots and love living in the country and being part of a thriving community. I can be quite reserved initially, but once you get to know me, I am good fun and enjoy life to the full. Just so you know, I am not a wild party girl, I would consider myself more of a classy lady who enjoys the finer things!
I have a wide variety of interests - I like walking - on my own, with friends or with a dog, ending with a hearty lunch in a country pub. Sports-wise I enjoy swimming, netball, skiing and yoga. I like a good night out with friends in a nice restaurant but I'm also very happy at home especially pottering in my garden, growing new plants and relaxing with a good book. I like to cook and bake with varying degrees of success and sharing my attempts with family and friends. I particularly like history and politics and enjoy a good discussion. My passion though is for the arts, whether that's seeing a great live band in Leeds, a new film, a theatre production or stand up comedy. I really enjoy photography, playing the piano, singing and most recently conducting a choir- although I am no Gareth Malone!! I love to travel, and fortunately, I've travelled to some great places both in the UK and abroad. This is something I would love to do more of.
