My name is Nick.
I'm well mannered, caring, considerate person- but not stoopid !

I work in the private sector as a self employed as a horticultural consultant, remedial pruning work, design and landscape.
My passion had been restoring a 1740 house, which was derelict and damp when i took out the mortgage.

Food
Like a good carvery and can cook decently.
Seafood, crustaceans and cauliflower cheese - just NO ! Haddock and tuna ok.
Like Guinness or cider, whisky or brandy. Any wine, port.
i walk almost every day. Close to deserted beaches white sand .
Like history, architecture Gardening, archaeology.
I've got log fires. Log sawing keeps warm twice, once cutting it and twice burning it.
I'm probably too wholesome for most.I do the outdoor gym and pilates
I like quite a few other genres of music, but above all i prefer the music of Bach, Handel, Vivaldi, but not stuck in the C18 i admit to having a harpsichord, i tune and play it- the bad tempered clavir ( not the well tempered ! )

Though i prefer my Nissan xtrail to horse drawn.
I was a horse rider, it's too expensive.
Days out are great.
I go to pub about once a week, sometimes twice.

I semi retired due to an internal injury.

Enjoy building, esp when it's on my house, not client's, which is usual
I run a micro nursery for perennial sales and grow all my plants from cuttings and seed and make tons of my own compost.
My garden is permanently open for charity, but i'm not a saint.
