About her
Presentable friendly lady with varied interests including NT and EH, Classical Music, Ballet, Opera, Theatre, Swimming and walking.I also like open countryside and gardens. I am familiar with the North East Coast and I love Devon and the South West, but I can point the car in any direction at the drop of a hat.
I enjoy travelling at home and abroad. I know Malta well and Hungary and Italy but I would like to explore many other places.
I hail from a farming background and I have lived in semi remote locations. These days I prefer my own private bathroom though! My farming background was Conservative, but my mining background was Labour. I think outside party political boxes now. I don't like Jeremy Corbyn, but I don't like Boris Johnson either. For me common sense rules.
Retired classroom teacher who plays the piano e.g Beethoven sonatas. It's not quite as grand as it sounds. I have lessons from an excellent teacher but my teacher, a close friend recently died and I miss him. I do enjoy playing and I am reasonable, but I play strictly for my own amazement. I still teach Piano and Theory as I am child friendly and I am told I am of a kind disposition.
I have built myself a walled garden but because I have so many demands on my time, I have had to hire a gardener but she is wonderful. I love going to other gardens if only I had somebody to go with. Also I swim fairly often sometimes in Bakewell.
I like to go to the Theatre but my small circle of close friends are either short of time or money but they do tend to be younger than me, I would like to find somebody to have fun with.

Cultured professional or business gentleman, who has not been afraid of hard work and commitment. Someone with a commonality of interest. Assertiveness is acceptable but kindness and courtesy is essential.
First and foremost I would like a good friend, someone to enjoy my interests with but also to teach me about their interests. I enjoy other peoples enthusiasms, partly because they are enthusiastic.
If you enjoy the countryside and walking, visiting places and gardens, the theatre rather than sitting in a Pub with a glass in your hand every night then perhaps that might be most important.
