About her
I’m an easy-going girl who likes helping others and making people smile. I know that sounds cheesy but I really like to be positive and if I can make your day a little brighter, that’s going to make me feel happy too. I’d say I’m a mix of joyful and observant which is actually a good combo - it means I always find something to appreciate on my daily walks. I’ll be the one noticing the spring blossom, smelling the wet tree bark, or looking out for birds on the river. I’ll feel particularly delighted if I spot a gorgeous blue kingfisher. Kingfisher Days are always the start of something good.
Given that I hated school, it feels surprising to me that I am now an insatiable learner. I’m really into personal development and attend workshops and conventions both in the UK and abroad. Mind you, a recent convention I had the pleasure of attending ended badly. I got stuck in a Western saddle that someone had left over a fence at the company’s Wild West evening. I had to roll out in the end because I got such a fit of giggles. I am passionate about photography and love to take pics on my travels, which usually means I’m carrying a bag stuffed with my camera everywhere I go. Luckily, there is not a single shot of Saddlegate!
Health is important to me and I’ll never miss a Pilates class if I can help it. Not just to stay fit but also because I love how it gets me out of my headspace and more into my body.
I’m allergic to washing up! Well, I’m allergic to regular washing up liquid but I can load the dishwasher like a pro. Got any incredibly useful allergies yourself?!!
