About her
This is difficult! I’ve been divorced for many years and my time has been filled with career ( I was a headteacher) and horses. I’m not sure where all that time went but I’m now retired, not riding and on my own with time to spare. I still love dressage but, more recently, through my daughter. I miss the training and competing but my last horse was put to sleep and I’m not really fit enough for dressage now.
I have one daughter and grandsons and I see a lot of them as they only live a couple of villages away.
Enjoy conversation ( am a very good listener), dining out and music. I’ve always appreciated male choirs - probably after spending my student years in Wales a long time ago. I really like the solo ‘cello and a favourite is Max Bruch’s ‘ Kol Nidrei’. I have a fairly catholic taste though.
I don’t like the very cold weather and enjoy escaping for a bit of time in the sun. I either go with my family or on my own.
Never been very good in the kitchen. Have had some disasters but can make good cakes :-)
I’m sensitive, kind, honest and really hope for those qualities in a friend. I am definitely not looking for ‘one night stands’ and am loyal and certainly monogamous; an old fashioned sort with a soft centre. I believe a full relationship begins with a good friendship.
I’m casually dressed at home ( jeans) but can ‘scrub up’ to accompany your black tie if and when needed.
I’d love to hear from you if you think think we may have things in common. Although not here to find a ‘penfriend’ I would really appreciate being able to establish some rapport by email initially.

Someone emotionally intelligent, honest, kind and genuine. Honesty is very important to me.
Someone who, as well as having a serious side, also has a sense of fun. Having the same interests isn’t important but having interests is, though enjoying dining out would be a good thing to share initially. I don’t really have an ideal match. Being genuine is my priority I think.
