About him
Having raised my children, mostly alone, and spent years building a business, I now have more time & energy for the good things in life, few of which are much fun alone. Singing in a community choir is a great pleasure and I love reading, food, films, conversation, classic cars and company. I really like to cut loose and have fun and my friends say that I neither look or act my age, one of which at least is true .... Being reliable and acting with integrity are very important to me and laughing is a necessary daily activity.

I'd like a proper partnership and to spend time with someone who shares similar values and at least some of my tastes. Patience and kindness go a long way, as does an sense of humour and adventure. Being able to talk about everything seems to me to be the essence of a relationship.

I've know Nick for a few years now, and what a delight it's been! Nick is wonderful and interesting company and definitely keeps you on your toes; challenging you with a deep intellectual question on second, making you belly-laugh with an irreverent comment the next. Nick is a great (and dapper!) host, and a good cook, every gathering is enhanced by his presence and good humour. As for his serious side, Nick is a very kind and thoughtful soul, he takes great care to try and see the good in everything and everyone, and would go out of his way to help anyone in need.
