I'm an independent 67-yr old woman, fingers crossed fit and healthly for my age: I'm a walking boots and waterproofs rather than a bling and high heels kind of a woman. I feel I'm independent and adventurous compared with a lot of other women I know. I love walking, the countryside in general, cycling ( I lived without a car for 12 years), travelling, reading, dancing ,theatre, stand-up , music of all kinds, animals particularly dogs.... I've lived abroad for 16 years of my life in different countries but came back to the hills and chills of North Yorkshire and the people I love. I have close sisters and some really good friends but do a lot of activities on my own and sometimes I'd like company. I'm still working part-time and volunteering with a couple of different organisations. I'm looking for pals, a larger circle of like-minded people.
